Day 24 - 6th April 2008

52 miles to Lokev. Hills climbed again after flat of Italy. I think I will like Slovenia, so far very friendly, rural and good value.

Met up with a rally of 30 Fiat 500's heading in opposite direction, a lovely moment they waved and tooted as I waved back.

Hope all good with everyone.

Hi Roger
Went to the gym and cycled 5 miles! Pity it wasn't on road cycling or at this rate I could be in New Zealand in ten years time!
Great to hear that all's going well for you and that you're finding the terrain and the people so interesting.
Hope you're planning to pamper yourself a bit on your birthday on wednesday - a slap-up meal and hotel for the night?
We're most impressed by your progress - keep up the good work.
All the best from Selim and me

We are sooooooo proud of you Dad, as is everyone else. You're doing so well, you'll be in NZ before us at this rate :) Really enjoying the texts. Mum's right, you should pamper yourself on Wednesday. Hopefully speak then. Keep up the GREAT work. Love you loads Chess and Simon x x x

Hi Roger
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU FOR TOMORROW!! No idea if you are reading any of these comments - but I'm sure you will one day. As for pampering yourself you may not have a slap up meal and hotel for the night - but at least treat yourself to a change of socks.
Gina rescued Betty from HER garden the other day. Love Alie X
